We’ve crunched numbers and have analyzed business financials for over a decade, and we draw upon that experience (and know-how as a CPA) to better serve our clients.

While we do not perform the actual tax returns and filings that are submitted to the IRS, we do our best ensure to our clients’ financials are complete, accurate and tax-ready for your accountant at year-end, and will work with them as needed to make the tax process hassle-free for you!

We perform all client work in Quickbooks Online. For clients new to this software, we can typically provide a significant discount on the monthly subscription.

It begins with a free initial consultation, which is an informal discussion about our services and your current needs, and exploring if there is a potential match. If you decide to move forward, we will exchange preliminary information (e.g., business account information, bookkeeping agreement, etc) and schedule an actual onboarding call. Depending on the services to be provided (LLC formation, bookkeeping, etc.) during the onboarding call we will discuss and exchange additional information and processes to enable Profetti to begin providing services. Depending on client schedules, the agreed-upon services, and other variables including Quickbooks online setup and catch-up bookkeeping (getting books current), the entire process can take anywhere from 1 to 5 weeks depending on the level of work required. After the onboarding call, we do our best to significantly minimize the amount of time and effort required of our clients during the initial process so that they can concentrate on running their businesses!

Of course the answer will vary with each individual business owner and situation. Some business owners may be financially savvy but are stretched too thin to keep up with their books. Others may be extremely talented in most areas of the business except finances, and may actually be putting their businesses at risk by not having complete and accurate financials each month. While the situations may vary, there are some common signs or indicators that suggest it may be time to consider getting assistance or at least exploring the idea further:

  • If you immediately feel angst when the subject of anything finance-related comes to mind or comes up in discussions with others.
